Xiao Zhang received his Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s degrees from the State Key Laboratory of Grassland Agro-ecosystem<\/a>,\u00a0Lanzhou University<\/a>, a prestigious institution whose research capability in Ecology ranks in the top 2 in China. Xiao Zhang obtained his PhD in 2021 in the Bailey lab<\/a> at the University of St Andrews<\/a> and was then appointed associate professor (B1-level) and supervisor of postgraduate research students (MSc) at Tianjin Normal University<\/a>. Xiao Zhang currently serves as the Director of the Teaching and Research Section of Bioinformatics and Artificial Intelligence. He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Evolutionary Biology<\/em><\/a>, the flagship journal of the European Society for Evolutionary Biology (ESEB)<\/a>, and an Associate Editorial Board Member for Advanced Genetics<\/a><\/em>. He has been awarded the Tianjin Young Innovation Fellow (U40 Distinguished Young Scholar Cultivation Program).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5f20\u9a812014\u5e74\u672c\u79d1\u6bd5\u4e1a\u4e8e\u5170\u5dde\u5927\u5b66<\/a>\uff0c2017\u5e74\u5728\u8349\u79cd\u521b\u65b0\u4e0e\u8349\u5730\u519c\u4e1a\u751f\u6001\u7cfb\u7edf\u5168\u56fd\u91cd\u70b9\u5b9e\u9a8c\u5ba4<\/a>\uff08\u5170\u5dde\u5927\u5b66\uff09\u83b7\u7855\u58eb\u5b66\u4f4d\uff0c2021\u5e74\u6bd5\u4e1a\u4e8e\u82f1\u56fd\u5723\u5b89\u5fb7\u9c81\u65af\u5927\u5b66<\/a>\uff0c\u83b7\u535a\u58eb\u5b66\u4f4d\uff0c\u5e76\u4e8e\u540c\u5e74\u672b\u901a\u8fc7 \u201c\u5929\u6d25\u5e08\u8303\u5927\u5b66<\/a>\u5f15\u8fdb\u9ad8\u5c42\u6b21\u4eba\u624d\u7eff\u8272\u901a\u9053\u201d\uff0c\u5f15\u8fdb\u5230\u201c\u526f\u9ad8\/B1\u7ea7\u201d\u5c97\u4f4d\u4ece\u4e8b\u6559\u5b66\u3001\u79d1\u7814\u5de5\u4f5c\uff0c\u73b0\u4efb\u526f\u6559\u6388\u3001\u7855\u58eb\u7814\u7a76\u751f\u5bfc\u5e08\uff0c\u751f\u7269\u4fe1\u606f\u4e0e\u4eba\u5de5\u667a\u80fd\u6559\u7814\u5ba4\u4e3b\u4efb\u3002\u5f20\u9a81\u662f\u6b27\u6d32\u8fdb\u5316\u751f\u7269\u5b66\u4f1a(ESEB)<\/a>\u65d7\u8230\u671f\u520aJournal of Evolutionary Biology<\/a><\/em> \u7684 Associate Editor\uff0c\u662fAdvanced Genetics<\/a><\/em> \u7684Associate Editorial Board Member\uff1b\u83b7\u5929\u6d25\u5e02\u201cU40\u57f9\u80b2\u201d\u4eba\u624d\u9879\u76ee\u652f\u6301\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Xiao Zhang has studied evolutionary biology for 10 years using genomics, population genetics, and bioinformatics. He has published 14 peer-reviewed articles<\/a> in top journals such as Nature Communications<\/a><\/em>, Evolution Letters<\/a><\/em>, and Communications Biology<\/a><\/em>, and he is named on two industrial biotechnology patents<\/a>. Xiao Zhang has held several grants as lead Principal Investigator, including a National Natural Science Foundation of China<\/a> grant (NSF of China). He focuses on understanding how different evolutionary events such as mutation, genetic drift, migration, and hybridization interact to dictate evolutionary trajectories in rapidly changing environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5f20\u9a81\u5341\u5e74\u6765\u4e00\u76f4\u5229\u7528\u57fa\u56e0\u7ec4\u5b66\u3001\u7fa4\u4f53\u9057\u4f20\u5b66\u4ee5\u53ca\u751f\u7269\u4fe1\u606f\u5b66\u6280\u672f\uff0c\u5f00\u5c55\u8fdb\u5316\u751f\u7269\u5b66\u7814\u7a76\u3002\u5f20\u9a81\u5171\u53d1\u8868SCI \u8bba\u658714\u7bc7<\/a>\uff0c\u83b7\u5f97\u6388\u6743\u4e13\u52292 \u9879<\/a>\u3002\u4ee3\u8868\u6027\u79d1\u7814\u6210\u679c\u53d1\u8868\u5728 Nature Communications<\/a><\/em>, Evolution Letters<\/a><\/em> \u548cCommunications Biology<\/a><\/em> \u7b49\u9ad8\u6c34\u5e73\u671f\u520a\u4e0a\uff0c\u5f15\u53d1\u4e86\u5e7f\u6cdb\u7684\u5173\u6ce8\u3002\u5f20\u9a81\u4e3b\u6301\u5305\u62ec\u56fd\u5bb6\u81ea\u7136\u57fa\u91d1(NSFC)<\/a>\u9879\u76ee\u5728\u5185\u7684\u591a\u9879\u79d1\u7814\u9879\u76ee\u3002\u5f20\u9a81\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u91cd\u70b9\u5173\u6ce8\u7a81\u53d8\u3001\u6f02\u53d8\u3001\u8fc1\u79fb\u548c\u6742\u4ea4\u7b49\u662f\u5982\u4f55\u4e0e\u4f17\u591a\u73af\u5883\u56e0\u5b50\u76f8\u4e92\u505a\u7528\uff0c\u5171\u540c\u51b3\u5b9a\u751f\u7269\u7684\u6f14\u5316\u8f68\u8ff9\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
